Tips on checking that NetKeeper is starting on the right directory:

Windows(R) does not always run a program from the expected directory. You may have to modify an existing shortcut (or program icon) to force windows to start the NetKeeper program from the directory (folder) where the program is located.

You can also try start the program by running Windows Explorer, locating the NetKeeper program and double clicking on the program.

To modify a shortcut under W95 /NT:

Find the shortcut used to start the NetKeeper program.
Right mouse click on the shortcut.
Select Properties
Select the SHORTCUT tab
Check that the target entry points to the right executable
Enter the path where your NetKeeper program is located in the "Start In " field
Click OK to save the shortcut data
Double click on the shortcut to start the program.
