NetKeeper Captain Login problems and solutions

If you can't login to NetKeeper Help Desk Captain:
1-Try to login as "ADM" and no (blank) password. This is the "as shipped" default.
2-Try to login as a tech, enter the tech's initials and password
If you still can't login:
1-Start explorer and navigate to the directory where you installed NetKeeper Help Desk Captain.
2-Find and highlight the NKHDCAP.EXE file
3-Double click on the file to start the program
4-Login
If you can login, check that the shortcut you are using points to the right file and defaults to the right directory. If you are in the wrong directory you may be using the wrong files.
If you still can't login:
Your tech and security files may be damaged. Restore your data files from the most recent backup and try again.
Note: tampering with the security files may damage the files and will prevent further logins. Restore the data files or call or Email us for additional support.
