Install NETKEEPER EXPRESS on your server, no components are installed at the workstations.
Use your network's supervisor utilities to give: read, write and create rights to all users on the directory in which you installed the NETKEEPER EXPRESS program.
Modify your network's login script or user profile to run the audit when the user logs onto the network. You can create a batch file with the audit commands and call the batch file from the login scrip.
Use the correct utility to audit your network. Use the 32 bit collection utility (NKAUDIT.EXE) except when you need to audit legacy PCs running DOS. Use the proper command line options to define the audit type and scope (See command line options in the user manual or the online help).
Once you are finished, the workstations will be audited at specific intervals when a user logs on. You can define the interval between audits.
