Creating a Clarion Report Writer report

Steps to create a basic report:
1- Install the Report Writer in a new directory (don't mix programs).
2- Start the Report Writer
3- Select File
4- Select New
5- Enter the name of the report library, for example : library1
6- Make the working directory the directory where your NetKeeper program is installed.
7- Optionally make enter a description for the library, for example : Test Library
8- Don't enter a password. (Not yet anyway)
9- Select DATABASE in the "Create Using Box"
10- Click on the ellipsis button (...) to select the first file for your report
11- Select CLARION as file driver
12- Click the ellipsis button (...) to select the specific file
13- Navigate to the directory where you installed your NetKeeper program and select a file. For example "SCMNK" - service calls - or "EQUIP.DAT" -equipment list-.
14- Click OK to return to the "New Report Library" dialog
15- Click CREATE
16- Click YES to run the "Create New Report" wizard
17- Click ADD FILE
18- Select the file added in step 13
19- Click Next
20- Pick a few fields, you are now creating the report columns
21- Click Next
22- Click Next
23- Click Finish
24- The report writer displays the new report layout
25- Click REPORT
26- Select PREVIEW to run the report
To save the new report:
1-Select REPORT from the top menu
2-Click SAVE REPORT LIBRARY
