Linking NetKeeper Help Desk Captain to NetKeeper Express

Use the StartUp Path entries to link NetKeeper Help Desk Captain and NetKeeper Express when the programs are installed in different directories.

Note: The link is automatic if the two programs (and the data files) are located in the same directory.

Steps to link:
* Login to NetKeeper Help Desk Captain as ADM (Administrator)
* Select Utilities
* Select SETUP DATA
* Click START UP PATH tab
* Enter the path to the LAN Inventory data (NetKeeper Express Data) in the LAN INVENTORY PATH field
* Click OK to save the data
* Exit and re-start NetKeeper Help Desk Captain

To verify:
Click on HELP
Click About NetKeeper
Check the Directory Information Data Files. The entry should be identical in NetKeeper Express.

Note: UNC will not always work correctly. Try mapping a drive to the data directory and using the mapped drive if you can't get the data files to link.
