Check that there are no control characters at the end of an active field
Document ID : 000-000522 Created: 6/22/2000 Last changed on: 6/22/2000
Check that there are no invisible control characters at the end of any of the active fields in your rules or business rules. An active field is a field that is used to process the rule, such as the "Subject" or "From" fields of an e-mail.
An invisible control character is something like a "carriage return" (or ENTER key) that does not display.
To make sure that there are no invisible control characters:
*- Open the rule screen
*- Place the cursor in each of the active fields
*- Press END to go to the end of the field an use the delete and backspace keys to remove any invisible characters that may be in the field. Or better yet, delete the contents of the field and re-enter the information.
