Use the CCVT.EXE utility to import and export data to/from DAT files.

Export:
Select the source file (table)
Export to BASIC (comma delimited) or DIF (spread-sheet format)

Import:
Import from BASIC (CSV-comma and quote delimited) to create a DAT file
