Your station has specifically attempted to alter the value of an identity column in the SET portion of the UPDATE statement. You can only use the identity column in the WHERE clause of the UPDATE statement.
This error indicates that there is either an error in the NetKeeper database layout or the communication link between NetKeeper and the back-end is corrupting generating errors and damaging the SQL (or ODBC) messages sent to the server. NetKeeper applications do not update the identity value.
This can be a difficult problem to troubleshoot. Use the SQL server utilities to see the query at the server and compare the query with the query sent by the workstation. To view the query sent by the workstation you need specialized tools that display the data sent to the SQL server.
Installing the newest network drivers and the most recent SQL clients and patches on your workstation often fixes this type of problem.
