DEFINITIONS OF TERMS
The inventory screens use three terms throughout. It is important to understand these terms in order to understand how inventory functions in NetKeeper.
Catalog
The catalog lists all the items that have been approved for purchase for the company.
Item
An item listed in the catalog
Asset
An asset is an item that has been purchased or otherwise acquired by the company.
To update or enter a new item in the list, select Change or Insert. You can make a master list of catalog items including manufacturer's Universal Product Code (UPC), cost and description.
