Check that the TARGET and the START IN shortcut fields display the correct information.
Document ID : 000-000879 Created: 6/22/2004 Last changed on: 6/22/2004

A shortcut must contain the correct information in the TARGET and START IN fields to operate properly.

This is specially important for thin client programs such as NetKeeper since the START IN field tells the program where the exe and dll program components are located.

To check a shortcut:

*- Right mouse click on the shortcut
*- Click the TAB "SHORTCUT"
Note: Re-create the shortcut if the tab "shortcut" is not displayed.
*- Check that the TARGET field points to the main executable of your NetKeeper program.
*- Check that the START IN field points to the folder where your NetKeeper program is installed. The START IN folder should display the same folder as the TARGET field.

Examples:

Target : \\Dbs21\ddrv\nk\capcrm\nkahdcap.exe
Start In : \\Dbs21\ddrv\nk\capcrm

mapped drive letters also work

Target : m:\nk\capcrm\nkahdcap.exe
Start In : m:\nk\capcrm
